GTA 5 - Issue loading new game - story mode PS3

Hello,

So, my online mode and my story mode (which I've already started) are working fine. The problem is that I wanted to start the story mode from the beginning, so I clicked "New Game" and the usual loading screen appears, with the images scrolling, and it never stops... It's not a matter of a scratched disc or restarting my console, I've checked those things before asking the question ;) If someone can help me... Thanks!

    Hello,

    I had the same issue that seems to have been resolved as follows:

    -Disable auto-save in the game
    -Delete the duplicate saves (including the auto-save if there is one) in the XMB (keep one of the two ;-] )

    Start a new game.

      Choose the one you want to delete, delete it.

      Hello, it’s different for me because yesterday I saved my game when I was on the drill recovery mission for the score of the century, and this morning I woke up and the game put me on the mission with the bugged phone with Lester. Can you help me?

    I came across this topic before asking my question, but since it wasn't exactly the same situation (my existing solo mode is still working), I re-asked the question... The first thing Rockstar should have patched, it seems to me!!

    My automatic backups are indeed disabled, I deleted the unnecessary backups and kept only the one that I had progressed the farthest in (because I still want to keep it)...

    When it was time to delete my unnecessary backups, I had the automatic backups and those that I no longer used, the one I wanted to keep, as well as one called Profile and another that only provided the information Replay the mission, so I didn't take any chances and kept those last ones as well. Back in the game, everything worked and I only had the one I wanted to keep left.

    I then tried to create a new game in story mode, and as ror13 said, the image is stuck at one point, the music stops but the "Loading story mode" in the corner keeps rolling endlessly...

    I had the same problem two weeks ago. My cousin came over, created a new user, and logged in with his PSN on my console. After that, when I logged back into mine, I had the same issue as you (with the images scrolling in the intro for a long time). I couldn't play GTA, but I tried something: I deleted the user where my cousin logged in, and then I was able to play without any issues! Have you recently created a new user?

    No, I've only had my main account since I got the console.. :\

    And by the way, to solve my problem, I had the idea to simply create a new user and start a new game from the beginning, but when I saw that it was impossible to log into PSN with my usual account (since it’s already assigned to the first user), I simply gave up without doing any further research... Maybe it would have worked, but not very practical when you want to switch from online to solo!

    Close the connection to PSN.
