I'm sorry in advance for the novel that follows, but I think you'll find it interesting if you came here :)

I wanted to share my experience with Tiilt and ask for opinions on Meetic...

As for me, I initially signed up on "Tiilt". Huge disappointment. First of all, you arrive on the site as a free member. I filled out my profile with a photo and description. Okay, I'm not Brad Pitt, but I'm not Mister Bean either! I received quite a few visits, regularly, maybe around 50 in 2 days and about 10 messages, knowing that I hadn't even visited their profiles, I thought that was pretty good. Obviously, to read the messages, you have to be a premium member. At that point, you might think that maybe compared to free sites, there aren't 100 guys for one woman and that perhaps we are the objects of desire of these ladies... Very naively, I thought why not. The site seems serious, it belongs to the M6 group, plus there are tons of TV ads. Here we go! I take a month to test it out... even if it’s expensive, it might be worth it. Reading the messages... Some disappear like magic. I reply to others, and they either go unanswered or they are scams from people in Ivory Coast or elsewhere trying sentimental scams or even attempting to hack you! As soon as someone asks for your Skype, it's clearly a scam, don't waste your time! From the moment I paid, strangely, I received no more visits, apart from those from scammers. There are very few genuine female profiles. Women are generally too sought after to respond to you. Since I signed up for premium, I've maybe had only 50 additional visits, even though I visit many profiles that I add to my favorites (which is supposed to alert these ladies). And the few with whom I had a conversation usually live at the other end of the country! In any case, it is practically impossible to be approached by a real woman, or to approach one yourself, as very few are online in the area and in the right age range. Moreover, there is never any indication of when the last connection was on the profiles!

This system is really shameful. That a group like M6 profits from our emotional misery is particularly disgusting, especially since we are here in a well-thought-out scam system to make us pay. They rely on the fact that they are not responsible for the fake profiles that sign up on the site. But the reality is quite different. Not only do they not protect their members by allowing these fake profiles to operate, but they also profit from it, because who benefits from the crime? It's probably not most often these scammers from another continent that you can see coming from miles away once you're a premium member, but the site itself! In reality, these scammers work indirectly and for free for the site, recruiting in exchange for a victim now and then, that's why the site allows this to happen! Even if profiles are deleted after a few days when reported, they reappear immediately. Would you tell me what more the site could do? Well, being a computer developer myself, I can tell you that if "Tiilt" really wanted to protect its members and eradicate fake profiles, they could perfectly do so by tracking IP addresses to trigger alerts when connections come from high-risk countries. And by permanently banning problematic IPs. This would greatly limit the damage. Which is not the case! Only the profiles are deleted, allowing scammers to create new ones... And thus feed a database poor in real profiles with new fake profiles! You understood that this suits them well! Obviously, the media don’t talk about it! Who is going to report a group like M6? Perhaps a public channel could. They should send infiltrators from France 2 to let people know what to expect, that would make a great report :)!

I’m not stopping there in my quest for the love of my heart ^^.. Yep, I tell myself that this might be a method used by a new site to grow and catch up with its big brother Meetic! And so today, I decided to sign up on the "number 1" as it calls itself! I first read a lot of comments about Meetic saying that the male-to-female ratio was no better than anywhere else. That guys don't receive visits or hardly do! But I also read that now women have to pay to sign up, which at least would have the merit of driving away scammers with fake profiles. But here we go, after about 24 hours connected without doing much as a free member, thus unable to do anything, I got 172 visits, 35 Flashes, and 17 Favorites! Quite the opposite of what the experience of other men led me to think. I receive the pseudonyms of these "women" who flashed me by email. They all have similar generated pseudonyms. Sure, it could be the suggestion tool, but here, it’s really the vast majority of them. Anyway, I take the pseudonym and do a little search on the site... Almost all the flashes come from profiles without photos. I received a flash from a profile with a photo. I do a little image search with Google Images for those who know... And I find that it’s the photo of a girl from an adult film. Anyway, Meetic!! Another scam or...? How can there be so many fake flashes, if even girls are supposed to pay to send them? Not yet keen on paying for nothing! I would like to hear the opinions of those who have recently tested it... Especially men.

Writing well is a prerequisite that allows one to stand out on dating sites, as most candidates seem quite close to illiteracy.

I'm not Brad Pitt either, and I'm not at all a player, which means that in real life, it's usually women who come to me, but unfortunately, not always the ones I would like... :-(

Unlike "real life," on the Internet, we first approach the intellectual aspect of the person before moving on to the physical, which suits me perfectly because in "real life," we often end up in bed before having had the time to really talk and realize there was a problem, some major intellectual incompatibility, or even significant issues with the lady.

For my part, the ROI (Return on Investment) is rather good (since that's what seems to concern you the most): after about a month of experimentation and tweaking my technique, I have about one date every week or two, and generally (about 4 times out of 5) right after that, there are exchanges of fluids and physical activities... Even when the great feelings are not there, I still get kept around often as a 'sex friend' (about 3 out of 4), which allows for pleasant waiting while looking for "the one." As long as the main parties are informed of the situation, there's nothing unhealthy, no scams. Unlike real life, no crazies, no "bad plans," just "very nice" women.

At this rate, inevitably, you end up meeting people you really like (for me, about 1 time out of 5) and if lucky (about 1 time out of 10), who also like you. After that, whether it works out long-term or not is another story... Anyway, to move quickly and not rely solely on "chance" in your love life, the internet is a good way.

I have frequented quite a few sites before finding one that suited me, both in terms of functioning and audience. On all the sites, there is spam, "Africans" or Eastern European girls (when they are not simply Africans :p) sending messages to everyone. Their silly usernames and their copied/pasted messages are no longer fooling anyone, and with training, you don’t even need to open them to realize what they are... I have also made connections on free sites, so it’s not just a man/woman ratio issue...

Real women are there too, waiting for the same thing we are: dreams, thrills, voluptuous moments, memories, "the one": p ... And they are just waiting to be conquered, but not in just any way and not by just anyone. Otherwise, it would be too easy...

Few of them make the first move (except for Brad Pitt, who would certainly be "getting" more than one date a day just by writing "hi, how are you" even to the hottest and most difficult ones, but the photo does the rest, and for some, it must be a bit like that :p), but why would it be otherwise, given the law of supply and demand? It's like in business, you need to know how to sell yourself, have a marketing approach, a strategy, optimism, humor, invest time in addition to money... The rest is always the same: "the man proposes, the woman disposes." In any case, I would never have "met" so many women in "real life" unless I hit on every woman I pass on the street, like some do.

P.P.S: By the way, the most beautiful girl I met didn't even have a photo on her profile: she had too many messages before, with pictures! So, avoid preconceived notions... :p

Bravo for your honesty, I myself have been on this site and I want to share my experience.. I am 53 years old and I am a novice on the internet. I am a prime target for scammers online since I have fallen victim to their schemes...

I was contacted by a sultry young lady of 28 years old who introduced herself as Laura Gauvin. Originally from the Vosges, she went to Africa for a charitable mission. She was looking for true love but was struggling to make ends meet. It was at that moment that she started asking me for money.. Generous as I am, I sent her €200 without realizing what was hidden behind it. Shame on me for contributing to this!

I left a comment and a review on "tiilt-all about tiilt" via Google! under the pseudonym "isariendesamis"
I don't know Skype, but after signing up for tiilt, I became a virtuoso, among girls who are not very well psychologically, asking for a virtual hookup and the far-fetched stories with all the misfortunes of Ivorians (to be forced to work these scammers)!
I was blocked by one profile and only one (yet the number of grammatical and spelling mistakes should have kept me away), I had contact with the first on January 1, 2014, this profile 'mariloudelamour' is no longer on tiilt (for the moment) but on a site (the biggest scammer on the web) cafecoquin (a site that has a good twenty names for the same site)! Did you come into contact with this profile during your subscription period, she only logged in at night between 3 and 5:30 AM!

I find that the tiilt site is a huge scam! It was my first time signing up for a dating site and I regret it bitterly! I got played like a fool! To reply to messages, it’s mandatory to take an account, so I took the one that said there was a 66% discount for 6 months, it was 10 euros per month. In the end, surprise, there was a little asterisk saying that you actually pay everything at once! So, tell me where the savings are?! Honestly, I don’t see it! So, in just 3 days I got conned! Because there are only fake profiles trying to scam you. Anyway, dating sites like Skype, Facebook, and others are over for me. I think the best thing now is to stop these dating sites! They ruin our lives! And let’s not talk about the moderator on tiilt, she has no respect, she just wants to push us further down the hole. And she's unpleasant. In any case, I realize that the Internet is really dangerous for all of us, and nothing beats real-life encounters! So, watch out for yourselves!

  Personally, I recently had fun signing up for all the dating sites I could find, stopping every time at the point where they asked for my credit card number, of course, and I've come to think that 95% of these sites are scams or even swindles. It even makes you wonder if there are any serious sites of this kind today... Maybe in the very beginning the first dating sites were relatively honest and could really help make real connections, but this concept, now exploited to the extreme, only serves to enrich their owners who are only interested in our bank card. As for the free sites, either they are nonsense, or nothing happens.
  
  All paid sites use underhanded tactics to attract customers and make them pay as much as possible, especially with the automatic renewal that everyone practices. And as if by chance, in our time where there are various means of payment on the Internet, you can only pay for your subscription by credit card! And for good reason, it's the only way they have to continue debiting your account against your will. They all emphasize that registration is free, well of course! Who is going to pay right away to use the services of a site they haven't been able to visit beforehand?! But anyway, it makes no difference, those who are not subscribed can only view profiles and thus cannot communicate with members. Not very practical for making connections in this case! Such hypocrisy is laughable. Furthermore, generally, you can't even read messages sent by other members, it's shocking.
  
  Fake profiles, all these sites are full of them, both free and paid. How can we believe that there are as many, if not more, women than men registered when we know how difficult it is for guys to get even a response to a message sent? On Meetic, I was surprised to find that despite my 36 years, the majority of the women who visited my profile were in their forties or fifties. In fact, I finally understood! Not because I attract seniors, but when on some sites you look at the list of connected women, you realize that most are between 50 and 60 years old. This means that young women rarely frequent these sites; it's the older ones for whom it’s more difficult to meet someone in real life who use them the most. Moreover, it is true that on those where you cannot know the last connection date of a member or their subscription status, you have every chance of addressing people who haven't frequented the site for a long time or who cannot receive messages. What’s the point in paying in this case? It’s really a lottery, and the results are unlikely to be conclusive.
  
  So yes, given the large number of users on these sites, statistically, there are definitely people who manage to communicate and meet through this means, but I can’t believe that they are as numerous as claimed. So when some people claim to regularly get dates and mostly succeed, I don’t believe a word of it. Either they are lying, or they are staff members of these sites coming to spread propaganda. Plus, the recruiters who contact you to get you onto paid sites are legion. Some even send messages to your personal email box saying they saw you on a site, but how could they have access to our email address, which isn’t visible and normally not shared? You don’t need to think too hard to understand that it doesn’t hold up. There are even fake sites that claim to have tested dating sites and provide a guide to the best ones, while among these so-called best sites, you actually find the biggest scammers!
  
  In short, the main thing to remember in my opinion is to never pay for this type of site. If you're going to be taken for a fool, you might as well do it for free; it still feels better.

The problem with these malicious individuals is that they use French proxies, and currently, there are no technical means to detect these proxies. Regarding the disappearing messages, this is due to our content control of messages by keywords. When we detect a suspicious keyword, the message is automatically deleted for your safety.
