Hello everyone,
For the past few days, I've been faced with a rather annoying problem.
When I try to print a Word page that I've just created, nothing happens; no matter how much I click on print, the documents remain in the queue but nothing goes further.
I have to restart my PC, and only when my session is open does the printing start automatically.
Moreover, if I have "blocked" the printer with a Word print job, I cannot print anything else from another program (specifically my work program that generates invoices).
I don't receive any error messages, either on Word or on the printer.
Does anyone have a solution to my problem because I'm wasting a huge amount of time restarting my PC to print a single sheet and an invoice?
I would like to clarify that I haven't installed anything particular just before this "bug."
Thank you all!

Hello,
to save time you could try just uninstalling the printer and reinstalling it (Windows has the drivers, it's quick).
Delete the pending documents beforehand...

In addition to the thank you (yes, it’s done!!!), remember to mark it as resolved (at the top near your title) when applicable. Thank you. -
Hello and thank you for the response,
I uninstalled and then reinstalled, but the problem is still the same... -
Hello
Open the command line console when it gets stuck and enter this command
net start spooler
Also, check that the default printer is indeed the one you are using for printing.
Go through the control panel and verify that the list of documents is empty before restarting new prints, as the memory may simply be full, its size being limited on the machine if it is equipped with one.
Best regards. -
Hello!
The printer is indeed the default one.
For example, I printed a Word page. And if I want to reprint another one, it goes into the list of documents in "printing" but nothing starts. It's the only one, I have no other documents pending.
I made the command, it does nothing.
Thank you. -
Re:
Can you reset the work list from the machine?
Go through the administration tools via the control panel, then select the services and check how the print spooler is configured.
Try restarting it in automatic mode.
Best regards -
