Removing a blank page in Word Solved

Question

Hello,
I have a problem in Word.
Indeed, after creating my catalog in Word, a blank page has inserted itself at the end.
Of course, I've read all the messages posted before, but nothing works.
I can't delete it at the end of my last sentence because I've created columns, and if I delete it, then the columns get all messed up!
Help me!

Did you follow the advice of the vine? It could explain the blank page following it, and in that case, you need to slightly reduce the height of your table to avoid creating a page break

Did you not make a page break or a section break?
Place your cursor at the bottom of your page (not the blank one) and check in Format/paragraph if you see anything checked in the "linking" tab

Hello,

UsulArrakis is right; you need to have at least one line break:
show the paragraph markers and look at the bottom of the second to last page; if there is one you can reduce it by selecting it and changing the default font size to 12 points, set it to 8 pts! If that’s not enough go to page layout and resize your margins, that should work!

Hello,
Be careful, Amandine doesn't have a table, but a text in 2 columns (post 2).
If the proposed changes to the layout and the shrinking of the last paragraph are not enough, we can also advise her to adjust the width and spacing between the columns (Format/Columns). I would rather try to reduce the spacing between the two columns. Reducing it by 0.2 to 0.3 cm may be enough to bring up the last paragraph that is hanging at the end and eliminate this page.

This blank page is annoying because since the sending of this document is done by email, our clients will see an unnecessary blank page.
We don't want to come off as incompetent.

Hi Amandine, the most reliable, comprehensive, and safest procedure to eliminate one or more unnecessary blank pages at the end of a document is to manually remove the formatting using the Delete and Backspace keys from the very end of the document, line by line for each unnecessary page. Let me explain in detail: in your document, type Ctrl + End and there (you are at the last line, last space of the document file), you simultaneously press Delete and Backspace until you have navigated up from the unnecessary page(s) (be careful, on the third line of deletion, it starts to go very fast, so you need to stop often to avoid deleting elements on the page you want to keep and where you will quickly find yourself) up to the last character space of the good page. Deleting characters is not everything; the memory spaces of characters must also be removed. I hope, now that you have the technique (which I myself searched for a long time), you will share it with others. Friendly greetings from Quebec, hyperwolf.

try one of the following methods:  method1) try to place the cursor at the end of the document (Ctrl + End) and use the backspace key to delete until the blank page disappears. method2) simply review the layout and reduce the bottom margin. method3) you can reduce the font size by selecting a part of the document from the previous page or any document depending on your layout. method4) if you have an image or a table or .... on the previous page, reduce its size. good luck

Sometimes if you reduce the margins of the document it can help. For example, in the case where you have a table, Word will add a blank page because of the automatic break. But you can remove this page by going to Layout, Margins, Custom Margins >> reduce the margin for "bottom"
