Unable to download attachments in Yahoo Mail Solved

Question

Hello,

For the past few days, I haven't been able to download attachments to my messages on Yahoo Mail. When I click on download, nothing happens (the download bar doesn’t appear)

I can see and read all the messages normally.

When I forward a message that has an attachment, the message arrives at its destination but without the attachment.

My computer "HP Pavilion g7" is equipped with Internet Explorer 11.
I have no problem with my Free email account.

Moreover, I have a desktop PC, the same setup as the "HP Pavilion g7," and I have no issues downloading attachments from my Yahoo Mail either.

Hello

I solved the problem by reverting to the basic version. You need to go to the settings, then mail display, and click on basic. This will take you back to the old version, and then I switched back to the new version after disconnecting and reconnecting the email, and I was able to open attachments again.

Thank you for the response, but the tests were not conclusive with the other browsers.

I just realized that my email box has automatically reverted to the previous configuration, but it is still not possible to download attachments.

Hello, I found the solution: the download is blocked, you need to go to the address bar, at the top right, there is the download symbol (bottom bar with an arrow pointing down) which is crossed out, you need to click on it and check the box "allow downloading attachments"
