Hello, I'm looking to send a template message to multiple contacts at once from the iPhone 5 without selecting them one by one.
Thank you

Hi, it works for all the contacts I add at home, as QuestionIphone says, go to the square with the pencil, type the first letter of the contact, select it from the list, once chosen it appears on the line, then type the letter of the next contact and choose it again, and so on...

Hello Vittorio2703. When I want to send a message quickly, here’s what I do:
    1- open Messages.
2- Tap on the "New message" icon, a square with a pencil.
3- Click on the first letter of the person's name and there will be several choices, so click on the person you want to send it to. Repeat this for the number of people you want to send it to.

For example: To: (if I want to send it to my friend Roger, I click on the letter R) (Then, all your contacts with the letter R in their name will appear. I click on Roger. Then I type the letter K to send it to my friend Kim.) (This will send it to both.)

I don't know if this helped you, but at least I tried ;)

Thank you for the response; indeed, for the first contact it works, but if I want to add several, I need to press +, which takes me back to the beginning of the directory, etc... Is there a way to select quickly like in other applications?
