Hello,
I would like to know if when my computer locks (requires the password) background tasks pause, such as downloads?
Because I would like to leave my machine downloading AND let it lock, but I don't know if that's possible.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 25.0

When you lock your session, the services do not stop. If you are downloading, your downloads will continue without any issues.
However, if you close your session, your downloads will be stopped. -
Hello,
It seems to me that indeed, background tasks stop when the computer is locked, BUT if only the screen turns off after a certain amount of time (without going to sleep), for example, background tasks continue, like downloads. -
Hello, thank you for your replies! I hadn't seen them because I thought I would receive an email alert. Anyway, thank you.
And while doing the experiment, I noticed the same thing as Phenix1228.
