Stuck logout

Hello,
I have a Toshiba PC with Windows 7 Home Premium,
I wanted to shut down my computer but it's been a day with "logging off..." on the screen and nothing is happening.
I can't see the mouse, I forced it to shut down but when I turn it back on, it goes back to the "logging off" screen and I'm stuck.
Help.

    Hello,
    Shut down your PC, unplug it, and remove the battery if you have a laptop, hold the power button for about a minute, plug everything back in and restart, see what happens.
