Hello,

I have a problem with my Geant 2500 HD decoder.
Every 5 minutes, the image freezes, displaying encrypted channels.
It can't be my antennas because the signal shows 70%, which is a good percentage.
Could someone help me understand where this might be coming from?

    You use Eutelsat W3 or W6, the latter will best meet your expectations ;0).

    Hi! Generally, all giant receivers block from time to time, but you need to download the Flash updates from time to time. The latest version to date is 1.34 from 12/30/2013. After that, a good alignment of the satellite dish connected to the dongle towards Eutelsat wa3 is required. Once the signal exceeds 70%, interruptions become less frequent.

    I bought it 3 weeks ago, the problem appeared about a week ago but since then it has gotten worse, and an update? I don't know what that is.

      I was talking about an update of the chains. 3 weeks, it should still be under warranty.

      As I was saying, you need to contact customer service if the signal is strong and a channel update has already been attempted.

      Good evening, I can't receive channels like Canal +, Be In, etc... it shows "encrypted channel." Can you help me please if someone has a solution??

    Good evening,
    I have exactly the same problem with encrypted channels every 5 minutes. I haven't found any updates since my box is from June 2014. I always have a signal of 88% and a quality between 65 and 85%... What can I do to try to watch a movie or a match without interruptions? For your information, one channel never cuts off, it's NT1. Is there a reason for that?

      Plug the RJ45 internet cable into the giant decoder after more interruptions.

      I have the same problem, every 5 minutes my screen goes black and it says encrypted channel.
      What should I do please? My rights are until October 2016 and my signal is 76 and quality 65.

        To solve this problem, take an official subscription; this question regarding hacking will therefore be closed as it is contrary to the charter.

      quality 65 is too low, below 75 it starts to act up. I have 90 and quality 86, and when there are cutouts, just turn off and on the decoder, and especially don’t zap too much, otherwise it bugs and cutouts happen often.
      I replaced the Geant with an Atlas 200, which works much better.
      For a new channel, just do a blind scan.

      Personally, I add the transponder of the new channels and only scan the transponders that I added.
      This saves me from scanning all channels, and I only scan what I want (French) and nothing else, 200 channels instead of 1000.
      King of Sat to see new channels and transponders.
      I’ve never done a reset after an update with a USB key or anything else.
