I need help!!
I have an HP laptop and since yesterday the mouse (cursor) no longer appears on my screen and the right and left "clicks" don't work either.
I can no longer use my computer. If you can enlighten me!

My computer is a HP G7-2242SF (I don't know if that's the right reference) And indeed, with a USB mouse, the mouse reappears..

Can you plug in a USB mouse to see if it works like that? (leave it for a minute for the mouse to be recognized)

Otherwise, there is often a keyboard combination to disable the touchpad (to avoid accidental actions!). What is your laptop model?

I did some research and found that you need to double-click in the top-left corner of the touchpad, and when the light is off, it works. However, my light is already off, but it's not working! My cursor still doesn't appear!

I think it's a "real" malfunction; if the computer is under warranty, you should take it to customer service (I've had this misadventure before). Otherwise, you can find the part on eBay.

Hi, it's simple, if you have a wired mouse (a USB mouse), all you need to do is unplug it from the USB port and plug it back in! But for wireless mice, I don't know :/
