Hello everyone,

So, I have a desktop PC connected to a Freebox via Ethernet cable and a laptop (equipped with a Wi-Fi card) that I want to connect to the Freebox via Wi-Fi.

Currently, when the laptop detects the Freephonie network and I try to connect, I get a message saying "Windows could not find a certificate, etc..."

Could someone please indicate the main steps to follow to connect?

Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    Hello,

not complicating life is a fundamental principle in computing :))
the simplest solution is to read what Windows tells you,
ok, no certificate, so just disable authentication,
to do this, go to settings\network connections\ (right-click on the wireless network adapter\properties\wireless networks configuration tab\select the network in preferred networks\click on properties\go to the tab\authentication\uncheck enable the authentication .... validate by OK and that's it!
otherwise, for those who like challenges, you need to look for the Windows fix ..etc it's a problem related to the authenticity of the version used
    Good luck
