Hello, I recently purchased a Canon MG 3550 printer that I am unable to connect to my laptop running Windows 8.1 via Wi-Fi. When it's connected via USB cable, there is no problem.
When I attempt a Wi-Fi connection, the computer indicates that the connection is undetermined. I cannot complete the installation if I use Wi-Fi.
Thank you for your responses.

I finally managed to connect the printer to wifi by going through device addition on the PC, pressing the wifi button on the printer once, and the synchronization button on the Livebox. It asks for the WPS code, which can be found on the network configuration page obtained by pressing the stop button on the printer 15 times, but I am unable to establish the connection. I saw on this page that the connection was inactive, but I have no idea if there is any action to take.

Hi Cobra, I did this manipulation but it doesn't go any further. It seems that the Sagem Livebox 2 is not compatible with connecting a printer via wifi. When I go to the Orange support, they actually recommend changing my equipment for a Livebox Play. The printed page indicates that the connection is inactive. As long as I have to pay to change the box, I believe the printer will work via USB cable. I must admit that the print quality is great.

And if among the different installation procedures offered, you choose the wireless installation procedure, but with a USB cable (which you remove at the end of the process)?
Would it work?
That's what I did at home. (But I have a Freebox and not a Livebox)
Have you activated the correct key combination on the LiveBox to allow it to accept the addition of new IP address, due to MAC address filtering? -
