Hello everyone
So here is my issue, a month ago I ordered from the showroom privé website.
It was a set of suitcases from the brand RUE PRINCESSE. The initial price was 750 euros and I ordered them for 150 euros.
Yesterday, Saturday, November 9th, I went to pick up my much-anticipated package.
I unpacked my package and what can I say....
Right from the opening, the suitcases smelled strongly of glue, almost unbearable.
Scratched suitcases, I noticed some defects, pieces of glue, and they don't seem very sturdy.
I am very skeptical, I don’t know what to think. After all, this is showroom privé.
How can I verify the authenticity of the suitcases????

Yes, but the price stinks a bit, doesn't it? Between a 50% discount that would make it €300 and an almost free price of €150 for something worth €750...
showroomprivé may be in France, but it's not the first time this has happened, far from it.

It would be surprising for a brand based in France to sell counterfeit products.. But anything is possible!
Look for an official Rue Princesse distributor and show them the horrors you received.. For example, Galeries Lafayette..
If you received fakes, come back to the Forum for advice..
Still, the price drop from €750 to €150 is a bit incredible..
Is the brand’s signature present on the items??

For my part, I have nothing to say about delivery times or customer service, which has always been very accessible and more than satisfactory for me.
I discovered this site in October 2013 and I have placed almost 15 orders, more or less expensive.
Mainly cosmetics, makeup, and all kinds of skincare, which originally cost a lot.
I always do research online before buying from them to compare.
I find that while the prices they indicate are not always up to date online, they are generally always more expensive than theirs (and for me, that’s a definite advantage!)
However, I do have some doubts about certain cosmetic products that seem to be very expensive at first, but that I find very uncomfortable on the skin, especially since I can’t find any expiration dates!!! ???? .... could these be expired products????
Even though I find that after researching, these products are pricey, they are never as expensive as the initial price on the showroom site.
The clothes I ordered are more or less as I expected (a few defects for the brand;;;)
Despite all these questions I have (since I'm new), I continue to be very diligent with this site, which I admit is more than attractive, and I also confess to having become addicted... For now, I find it suits me, even though I’m waiting for answers regarding the lack of dates on the products we buy....

I had the same problem. I ordered two bags from the brand Luisa Vannini at Showroomprivé. However, the quality of the product disgusted me... it has nothing to do with what was promised. Neither of the bags has any indication of the brand... I can send you photos of the products I received, and I can't even begin to describe how it smelled of glue for at least two weeks...

1- Go to an official brand distributor store for expertise.
2- If counterfeiting is confirmed, contact the CNAC and/or Customs (DGDDI).

But I just read on another forum that a young man bought a luxury watch, also on the Showroom Privé website, and that the authenticity certificate was indeed present.

You can tell them that their suitcases seem to be counterfeit..
Choose:
they handle the return and refund you right away..
OR
You involve Customs or another competent authority as well as the real Rue Princesse, not to mention you could claim damages for 'deception'..
Just to be sure, I would have the goods examined at an authorized point of sale + contact with Rue Princesse..
This is not the first report of supposed counterfeit goods sold by this site reported online.. There is doubt!

Hello, I recently ordered a down jacket from the brand INÈS DE LA FRESSANGE on Showroomprivé.
When I received it, I didn't pay immediate attention to the inner label, but I discovered in the following days that it was completely different from the fabric of the jacket (a cut denim label), roughly glued over the spot of the old one, which had clearly been unstitched. It's a SCANDAL!
Moreover, the quality of the jacket, sold for 59 euros instead of 200, leaves much to be desired. Indeed, holes, loose threads, are appearing. (photos to support).
It's truly shameful, I sent an email on Sunday night and promptly received an automated email promising a response within 24 business hours; it’s Wednesday and I still have no reply. I sent a second one on Tuesday, I am waiting to see...
I am EXTREMELY disappointed, as this is not my first order; I am a loyal customer, despite sometimes making allowances for mistakes that I haven’t complained about out of excessive understanding on my part. This will be the last time I order from this site.

You have to go directly to their Facebook wall to complain, that's what I did and within 20 minutes I was contacted by an advisor who offered me a settlement (return of the down jacket and refund).
