Remember username and password

Hello, now you’re starting to know me (lol), my problem before, whether it was on Google or Firefox, my passwords and email addresses were often entered automatically without me doing anything. Now, every time I search for something, I’m asked for my email address and password, which can happen 40 times a day. Why? What should I do? Thank you for your help, kindly Nadine.

    Hello Nadine,

    Launch Firefox => Tools => Options => "Security" and check the box "Remember passwords"

    Hello hubertaaz, well I followed everything you told me to the letter, except that I can't check the box for saving passwords, I don't understand.

      Sure,

      Make sure you're using the latest version of Firefox from the following link: https://www.mozilla.org/en/firefox/new/

      Then try checking the box again, and if it still doesn't work, please describe what you have under the "Security" tab.

    block websites reported as attack sites checked
    block websites reported as counterfeit sites, checked.

    save passwords not checked, I can't
    use a master password not checked.

    What is your operating system? Is it Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8?
    Do you know the exact or approximate date when this problem occurred?

    Do you use CCleaner or another software that cleans temporary files?
