Call of Duty Ghost Launch Issue

Solved

Well, here it is, I'm presenting my problem.
I bought Call of Duty: Ghosts on Steam, never had any issues with about ten other games on it.
MW3 runs very well on my PC with high performance, Far Cry 3 does too, etc.
And now, I just finished installing Ghosts, I launch it and...:
"Fatal Error" Your system memory (RAM) does not meet the minimum requirements for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
WHAT
I don't understand, AT ALL. I didn't pay for nothing...
My PC: Acer Aspire V3-771G
4GB RAM
750GB storage
Nvidia GeForce GT630M
Intel Core i5-3210M 2.5GHz with boost up to 3.1GHz

If you have the same problem or if you have a solution...

THANK YOU in advance :) ..

    Very, very short tutorial:
    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=193714770

You download the file given in the link, put it in the player2 folder and enjoy guys, it works!

Give it a +1 so that players who still don't know how to do it can see the solution to their problem.

Hello everyone, to start CALL OF DUTY GHOST you need to 1) have a maximum of 8 GB of memory. 2) set your Windows to 64 Bits and check (start DXDIAG if it is also 64 Bits because in 32 Bits the game will not start. Finally, set DirectX 11 to 64 Bits for your graphics card.
My PC I3 ATI 5870 8 GB of memory all in 64 Bits and the game runs well.

I have 4GB of memory on a laptop with 1GB of graphics memory and DX 10, I think, and the game launches (GT 520 MX). Yes, it's not very smooth, but I can still play it anyway. ^^

Hi, I just found the solution, so please spread the word on all the forums THANK YOU!!
You need to go to ma-config.com, download the app (free), start the detection, then go to my drivers and install the drivers that need to be installed!!! There you go, it works. Have a nice day and enjoy your game :) (don't download beta versions, they don't work, contact me by sending an email to ***@***

The problem doesn't come from your configuration in any case.

Problem for me too, core i5, 8 GB ddr3, geforce gt630m.
The game installs correctly but when I try to launch it via steam, I get a message: preparing... for 2 seconds and then nothing.
Note that my other steam games work fine.

    Hello

I received the message with a GTX 780 M, and on the third launch, Ghost started up but is not properly utilizing the card (artifacts in water scenes) and minor lags.
I think the app is not yet up to par in terms of supporting graphics cards.

    Hi Arnaud,

As you read, your issue comes from your RAM. Make sure that your PC is running Ghosts under acceptable conditions. To solve your problem, you just need to replace your RAM stick with an 8GB DDR5 quad-band to be good for a while, and maybe, while you have it open and if your budget allows, take the opportunity to upgrade components for upcoming games or even to make Ghosts run smoothly (like your graphics card, for example).

    I remain at your disposal,

    Albert Poliakov!

For your information, he seems to have a laptop.

I don't know if changing the RAM on a laptop is worth it.

Moreover, it seems to me that the graphics cards on laptops are soldered to the motherboard.

So in the end, it's better to buy a complete desktop.

Spirit, well spotted he's probably on a laptop and changing the RAM and the graphics card is definitely possible...
As for buying a desktop, that's still a whole other budget, knowing that he’s on a laptop he probably doesn’t have a monitor or peripherals...

If you have a USB key of at least 2GB, you can try this (I doubt it will work..):
Delete all the files on your USB key, then go to "Computer," right-click on your USB key, and go to properties, then select the "ReadyBoost" tab.
I have no idea if this can work, but it's a method to "increase" RAM. (If it works... you'll need to play with your USB key connected..)

I went to a computer technician and had an additional 4GB memory stick installed, which means I now have 8GB. The game is therefore working properly now, thanks to everyone!

You need to see if your graphics card is powerful enough; I ordered an Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti
because mine wasn't powerful enough to avoid lag.

    Hello,

To address the topic, changing the RAM on a laptop is entirely possible and quite simple. Regarding the Ghosts issue, wait for an update as the game is poorly optimized at the moment.

A little tip to fix minor lag problems in the menu and in-game (doesn't work for everyone), launch the game, then do a Windows return and go to the Task Manager (ctrl+alt+delete), then in processes, select the Ghosts exe and set it to normal priority. Hopefully, this helps a few people.

    Have fun :)

    Good evening,
I have the same problem when launching COD Ghosts; it shows me the fatal error in multiplayer mode. I reinstalled the game and now the fatal error appears in both single and multiplayer modes.
I have 6 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GEFORCE M740.
The error message is: ERROR DURING INITIALIZATION
    configure-MP.CSV:EXE-ERR couldnt-configure "intel(r) HD graphics 4000"
Can anyone help me? I don't understand anything...
    THANK YOU.

Change the game settings, it might be gross, but whatever... Otherwise, go to Steam, right-click on the game, and go to properties, local files, verify the integrity of the game cache. I hope it helps you.

Hello everyone, the Matrix solution didn't work for me. So, I updated the driver for my nvidia gtx 760 graphics card. By doing the update, I now have access to nvidia experience. I can launch Ghost through nvidia experience and it works very well. Hope this helps some of you.
