Windows refuses to launch Battlefield 4

Hello, so here's my problem.

Yesterday, I bought Battlefield 4 as soon as it was released. Since this is my first FPS on PC, I had to create an Origin account and everything that goes with it, then I installed the game (which took 22 hours, just so you know). And when I woke up, once the game was installed, I clicked "Play," which sent me to Battlelog. And when I click to launch multiplayer, my computer loads the game, and once the game is launched, Windows happily pops up a window saying "Battlefield 4 has stopped working." Everyone who has been on Windows has seen that damn window at least once in their life... But of course, they never say what the problem is... So I turned off my firewall and antivirus, same result... Is there anyone kind enough to help me?

Thanks in advance!

PS: No, it’s not a PC power issue. It was bought last July, it has 16GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 760MB, plenty of free space,...

My issue has been resolved. It was a problem with my NVIDIA graphics card.

Now BF works great, and I'm also on Windows 8.

Do you have 32-bit or 64-bit Windows because 32-bit is not supported?

    I have 64 bits... I don't think that's where the problem is...

I have BF3, it runs very well on the computer. BF4 on the other hand does not, graphics drivers are up to date and it runs on Windows 8 as well. Tested in 32 and 64 bit, no change...

    Hello!
I bought BF4 not long ago and I can't play it.
    "BF4 has stopped working":
when I want to play (whether in campaign or multiplayer), BF4 starts loading with a black screen and then, 3 seconds later, the message: BF has stopped working.

I repaired the installation, reinstalled PunkBuster... Nothing works.

Yet my computer is powerful enough for BF. (I checked)

Does anyone have a solution? =/

Hi, should I switch to 64-bit Windows or stay with 32-bit, or should I update Microsoft Visual 2010?

    Hello.
I also have the same problem launching the game!
Windows encounters an issue and the game doesn't start.
I have a great gaming laptop!
    MSI GT70 2OD-674FR - RAID SSD GTX 780M.
    Nothing works!!!
