Hello,
I bought an HDMI cable, and when I try to connect it from my computer to the TV, the circuit breaker trips. I thought it might be the cable. After that, I went and bought another one (a more expensive one, to see the difference) and still the same thing happens; just touching the connection makes the circuit trip.
How can I resolve this issue?
Thank you in advance for your response.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 30.0.1599.101

Hello
The HDMI cable is presumably "innocent".... There is a possibility that a loose connection (short circuit) may be "caused" when you connect the cable to one of the two devices....
To determine which one.... first connect it to the TV... "wiggle the cable".... if it doesn't trip the circuit, try connecting (only) the PC.... and try again to "wiggle" the cable...
After that.... it will remain to repair the faulty device... TV or PC... If this equipment is a bit old or no longer under warranty... get an estimate done....
