Hello,
As part of a mail merge, I am inserting my data into a table.
Today, my technique consists of creating a table with a number of rows greater than the number of records returned by the mail merge.
For each change of row, I use the "next" rule to enter one record per row.
After the merge, I remove the empty rows.
It works.
However, I came across a table template that expands according to the records.
That is, my layout has a table of 6 rows.
After the merge, the table expands with for example more than a thousand rows.
After searching the table options, I haven't found anything abnormal.
My question: What option should I set or how should I create the table to have this behavior?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! ;o)
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards

Well, given this abundance of details...
Try a "Directory" merge (Start Mail Merge / Directory... if you have a version from 2007)
Insert a single row with as many columns as there are fields in the source attendance table, then insert the fields.
The merge table will adjust to the number of records in the source file
