Remove "silent" mode on Logicom RIVA 450

Good evening,
I put "MUTE" on my Logicom RIVA 450 and I can't remove it, yet I did the reverse action by pressing the "C" button, but the mute mode won't turn off,
What can I do because I can't make phone calls, the callers can't hear me;

The manual on page 17 clearly states to press the button again
It is possible that pressing the C button will only be recognized during a conversation.. try to establish a conversation with a relative or yourself on a mobile phone and attempt to press the button in question once the communication is established...
Otherwise, apart from trying to remove the rechargeable batteries or attempting a reset to factory settings (manual on pages 37 -38 -39), I don't see much solution to the problems.

But
WARNING:
Resetting the default settings will completely erase the call log
(list of received calls), the BIS list (list of last dialed numbers) and all messages, memos and personal announcements from the answering machine but will keep the directory content intact.
