Hello everyone,
I'm currently having major issues with my Easynote LS44-HR-120 FR, and I'll try to be as clear as possible:
- When I plug the laptop into the mains and turn it on (with the battery), the laptop beeps once after a certain amount of time (between 5 to 30 seconds) switching the laptop to battery power, and the power and battery lights start blinking. (Even when the laptop is off)
- When I remove the battery and start the laptop, it only starts in a specific position; I have to move the power connector for it to turn on.
The battery is new, and so is the charger.
I'm thinking about changing the laptop's power connector, but do you think there might be other hidden problems?
Thanks in advance for your responses :)
P.S.: I'm having a lot of trouble finding a compatible power connector for my model; if anyone has a good deal, I'm interested! (Other model reference: p7ys0, 90W power supply)

That's what I think, yes, but just to be sure, I wanted other opinions. I'm going to change the part myself; besides, on this model, the connector is not soldered to the motherboard; it's a plug-in connector.
Do you think that's what's causing the lights to flash too? -

The connector must be damaged, that's the only thing I see, I had exactly the same problem after a shock.
Take it to specialists (if you live in Paris -> rue Montgallet 75013)
They will fix it for not too much money. -
If the equipment is damaged, there may be current leaks and/or under/over voltages. This can be very dangerous, so be careful not to disassemble it while it is powered on.
I think these energy malfunctions can cause your indicators to flash, indicating a danger/malfunction. -
OK, I'll update the topic once I've changed the part. Do you have any good websites to recommend? This PC model is quite hard to find on spare parts websites.

LDLC is a very good website for computer hardware.
But as I told you, at Montgallet Street in Paris, they have really everything. If you're not in Paris, you can call them to have it shipped to you. -
So, while trying to retrieve the connector, I noticed that some wires were unsoldered. I therefore solved the problem by re-soldering.
Thank you for responding, Maxime. Have a nice end of the day! -
