Hello,
I just changed my microphone for a Windows 7, I previously had an XP.
I have a composition software that I was completely satisfied with.
So far, I've changed my microphone three times, and I've always managed to install the software on the new hardware.
But today, I have a message telling me that the version is not compatible.
The required configuration is Windows 95 or 98, 16-bit graphics card resolution 640x480, 16-bit sound card... Yet I managed to install it on my old XP, which is a later version than the one required!
This software is no longer available for sale today and doesn't even appear in the Micro Application catalog.
I would like to know if there is a trick to 'force' the installation. I have the original installation CD in its original box, so it's not piracy!
I don't want to change software, as it always requires adaptation time, and I'm not sure I will find a program that meets my needs.

Thank you very much for your help, but it seems that this is not possible.
I will try another software (free Musescore) that seems convenient to me, although I haven't been able to test everything yet. It's frustrating to have to start studying the tutorials again, but if the result is there...
