Hello,  I'm looking for a password to uninstall the Trend Micro OfficeScan 8.55 client, thanks.

Open the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PCcillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Misc.
Set the value "Allow Uninstall" to 1.
By setting the value "NoPwdProtect" to 1, you allow the unloading of the Officescan client without a password.

Hello nabil12,

The password for OfficeScan is the one you set during the installation. I have OfficeScan and set a password because it prompted me for the code you entered on OfficeScan.

You need to go to the registry...

local machine, software, trend micro, officescan client, misc, and there you modify allow password by setting the value to 1

and then it will no longer ask you for an uninstallation password...

another solution:

in the windows directory

search for ofcscan.ini

you search within the file: PWN

you will find uninstall pwd at some point...

you modify the key CRYP! ...... to 70

you save it.

your password will be: 1

it works with versions 5.06 and 5.56 ...

for versions 7.3 and 8 I recommend you rather go through the registry.
