Hello,
I have the following problem in Access:
I have a simple relationship between two tables and when I click on the small plus sign on the left in the second table, the paperclip tells me:
"This expression has an incorrect syntax, or is too complex to be evaluated. For example, a numeric expression may contain elements that are too complicated. Try simplifying it by assigning parts to variables."
Yet, the relationship is quite simple... Can someone please help me?
Thank you

No, but I think I found it, it seems to me that it's because the field types were different.
By the way, I would like to change some text fields to numeric, but Access removes the leading zeros when they are not followed by other digits!!! It does it automatically and I don't know how to tell it not to do it... and I don't want it to do it!
Thank you
