Uninstalling Snapchat does it delete our account?

Hello,

I’ve been having a problem with Snapchat for a while... When I try to watch a video, it shows me a black screen or a message saying “unable to play the video”... I thought it was a bug, of course! I must say that my phone isn't exactly new.
So I wanted to uninstall Snapchat to reinstall it. But I'm worried that it will delete my account?
