Dell Laptop Issue

Hello,

I was using my DELL Latitude D420 laptop when it suddenly crashed. Now it won't turn on and I immediately get an error message: No boot device available - strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility. Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics
I don't know much about computers and I admit I'm a bit panicked
Could you help me?

Hi,
press F1 and it will try to restart; if that doesn't work, press F5 and it will run a diagnostic and tell me what the diagnostic says. :)

F1 it didn't work
F5 all of a sudden it beeps beep beep beep and there is a message
Error code 0141
no drive detected
the given error code and message can be used by dell technical support to help diagnose the problem. Do you want to continue testing?

What should I choose? yes no retry?

your computer does not recognize your hard drive.

try this: you turn off your PC, you unplug the power cable from the PC, you press the power button on the PC for 30 seconds, you release it, you plug the cable back in, you turn on your PC.

Do you have the CD for the PC???
If you have it, insert it into the CD drive, then press F12 and tell me what it says.
