Hello,
My Sony laptop was broken. After 40 days of waiting for it to be returned from repair at Sony, I can't start it, and I get the following error message:
PXE-E53: No boot filename received
PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM
Operating system not found
I don't want to send it back for a second repair and waste time, delaying my work. Could you help me solve this problem?
Thank you
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 22.0

Hello...
Your machine is trying to boot via a network... which it can't find!
Enter the BIOS by pressing F2 or Delete... or some other F key... and, in the BIOS, set the "default values" ... confirm and exit the BIOS... if there is indeed an operating system on your hard drive, that should do the trick...
Otherwise, by hitting F9 or 10... you should access the boot menu; make sure to set the hard drive as the first option...
Best regards,
See you later
