Hello,
I am an administrator of a local network connected to a domain.
I have never had any interconnection issues between PCs.
Strangely, I have one PC that I have added to the domain, which can see all the equipment on the network. That is to say, pinging this PC from any equipment succeeds.
However, none of the PCs on the network can see it. In other words, any ping from any PC to this PC fails.
The addressing is done automatically (DHCP).
Even when I assign it a manual address, pings to it still do not succeed.
I am quite intrigued.
If you have any ideas about this, I’m all ears. In the meantime, I'm searching online.
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 17.0

Hi,
Check if ICMP (type 0 code 0, so a reply to type 8 code 0) is allowed out, which implies that other PCs pinging it can also send ICMP type 8 code 0.
Run a netstat -e -s to verify (see echo and echo reply).
Normally, the rule in the Windows firewall is not enabled (ICMP v4 outgoing), so it should go out.
