And it's not stored on a DVD but on the computer, it's much better!

Thank you for your response, I indeed saw this article in the item of the month.

Do you know if I can record short sequences from a video cassette? That is to say, 2 or 3 minutes in the middle of a 2-hour cassette. Best regards.

Yes, I have that at home! ^^
It has software that will transmit the image from the cassette and you can record whenever you want!
But you have to know when your segment is, otherwise you'll be waiting around for two hours! (This is from experience) :P

Thank you, this is not exactly the device I am looking for, but rather a combo that allows me to play the video cassette through the SCART and record it onto a DVD,
