Drawer locking issue on DVD player

Hello,
I have a Thomson DTH161B DVD player that is stuck on drawer lock, and I do not know the procedure to unlock it. Can you please help me? 
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    I found the solution
    press set up on the remote and then type 00083 OK without paying attention to what appears on the TV screen. Then set up and everything is unlocked.

    This issue occurred after trying to read a CD on which I had recorded photos from the laptop.

      Good evening, to get a DVD out of the stuck drawer of the Philips R3360H recorder, you just need to look underneath your recorder. There is a light in the metal part of the recorder's casing. In that light, there is white tape for mine; you need to pierce that tape and behind it, there is a white plastic knob to move, and the drawer will unlock by itself. Have a good evening.

      a big thank you. I found your advice this morning and applied it right away. Five minutes later, my DVD was working. The tray opened immediately; I think the DVD wasn’t placed correctly.
      I’m in trouble because yesterday I removed the cover of the DVD to see if I could intervene... but I didn’t think to look behind!!! Anyway, I’m saved.

      Good evening, I had this problem but mine is a 3360H. Look underneath your burner, there's a slot in the metal part, behind it there’s some tape (white for mine), pierce this tape and you will see a small plastic lever, move it to one side or the other and your drawer will open.

    Thank you very much!!!!! We tried everything, including pressing all the possible buttons, unplugging the reader, and going through the user manual!! It wasn’t working until we tried set up 00083 set up!!! Really cool of a boost!!!

    I tried with the formula set up 00083.. but without result! Should I use the remote control of the TV or the DVD player? Should it be plugged in or not?
