How to manage a pétanque tournament bracket?

Hello,
I'm urgently reaching out to you :( We haven't found anyone to keep the pétanque scoreboard for our village festival and I would like to know how it works?
We will have around 30 teams of 2 players (doubles) and I would like to know how to position the winners and losers, as well as how to manually keep all the scoreboards, without software! Thank you in advance :)

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 28.0.1500.72

Hi, it's a tournament tree, but you probably already know how to organize that tournament.

Pools? Single elimination? Loser's bracket? etc...

But in a tech support forum, that's a bit off-topic :)

Then, you need to decide how you want to handle the losers, whether there will be a "consolation" or not, that kind of thing.
