Hello,
I just changed my HP Pavilion g7 laptop running Windows 8 64-bit
but I'm having trouble reinstalling my printers. I can't find the driver for the Canon LBP810 laser printer (due to Windows 8)
does anyone online have a solution?
thank you in advance

Indeed, I also did as you did, and found that the driver for this printer does not exist in a Windows 8 64-bit version.
The one offered for Windows 7 does exist, but only in a 32-bit version, which unfortunately does not seem to fit your system!
Perhaps you should contact Canon using this Online Request, sorry, I don’t know what else to suggest!
Best regards.

Hello,

There are no drivers for a 64-bit version.
As glg29 mentioned, contact Canon.

You can try with Windows Update
See if a driver is offered to you.
Check in optional updates and also in hardware.

Good luck.

Hello
in Windows Update no driver offered
at Canon: here is their response
"we regret to inform you that the drivers dedicated to your printer LBP-810 are not yet available and may not be developed by Canon due to the age/compatibility of your hardware with the Windows 8 operating system."
too bad for me, I only have to buy a new laser printer
but thank you for your help

Pass through an XP mode or a virtual XP machine and you will be able to use your printer.

Indeed, using a virtual machine works (I have exactly the same problem). Try using VirtualBox and a Windows XP image.
