Hello, as mentioned in the title, I have a .jar file that opens with WinRar, do you have any solutions? I know it's an executable jar file because I've already opened it on another PC. I've already tried opening it with all the Java (TM) Platform SE Binary but none of them work.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
The jar file is an archive format, and WinRAR handles archives, so it can indeed open them to retrieve the contained files and folders...
Recently, you must have assigned WinRAR as the default program to open RAR files... To undo this behavior, and to open RAR files with Java by default, while using RAR only on demand...
You need to right-click on your file > "Open with" > "Choose default program..." > Select the program (Java) from the list... Check the box "Always use this program to open this type of file by default"...
The program will now open by default with Java... If you ever want to open it occasionally with WinRAR, just right-click > "Open with.." and select WinRAR... this will not change the default action...
