Hello,
I've had a question on my mind for the past three days. What are the risks if I ride a scooter without a BSR? I'm 15, and honestly, spending 200€ on the BSR is OUTRAGEOUS!!
So, thank you.
;)

Hello

To ride a 50cc scooter without a BSR, you must either have been born before January 1, 1988, or hold any type of driving license.
To ride a 125cc scooter, you need either the A1 license (125 motorcycle), the B license (car) for more than two years, or the A license (motorcycle over 125cc).

If you only have ASSR 1 and 2, and nothing else, you need to pass the BSR to ride a 50.
You will not be able to ride a 125.

Otherwise, what are the risks?

**a fine at best... maybe even several if the cops catch you too often
**if, additionally, for your misfortune, you were to be involved in an accident, even if you're not at fault, there's a possibility that your insurance won't cover you..
**even worse, if you are at fault but only for material damages: no insurance for you, nor for third parties (they will be compensated by the insurance fund, but you will have to pay at some point to reimburse them, at the very least for your health expenses and the repair of your scooter
**even worse
you kill or injure someone, you are over 15 years old, you can be judged as an adult... involuntary injuries or involuntary manslaughter, yes! You don't need a picture painted for you, I think you understand what that would mean for you
think carefully... stick to biking, or get your license (at least the part you haven’t passed at school), or wait to take the car license with supervised driving, but don’t take risks, especially think of your parents, who wouldn't be happy since you’re not financially responsible.. it can go far, and you could even pay for a lifetime for such a foolishness
there you go
it’s expensive, I know, but it’s the law
if you circumvent it, it’s up to you, but in case of trouble,... you’re in trouble.. and you drag your parents down with you .. presented this way, I’m sure they will make an effort
if it works, great; if they don’t, you’re left without a ride lol
