My computer was hit by a shock during a storm, it shut down automatically. When I turned it back on, the computer starts up as usual but nothing appears on the screen :/ I don't know much about it, but it's not the power supply because the computer still turns on... if you have any ideas to suggest, that would be great :)
Thanks in advance!

I doubt that this will be enough...........

There are several possibilities, either the surge caused by the storm destroyed the motherboard's power supply (that's the worst case), which means you never reach the first display, or your screen has blown, try with another screen.

Hello everyone,
well, the jackred valves, if your car breaks down, call us, we’ll tell you it's the horn
Power supply or hard drive controller is dead due to the surge?? try installing it on another computer to see, it will at least allow you to save your data.

Or... securing the motherboard... Try this: disconnect the power supply, press the power button several times, reconnect it and see if it turns on correctly.

Otherwise, try a clear CMOS...

OK, I'll give it a try, but I thought it might be the graphics card because no screen is displaying anything. I only saw the image once to access the BIOS, and since then I haven't seen any image :/

Before the graphics card, try the screen; even a laptop has a VGA port for a second screen.
LCD laptops are backlit, meaning a neon light illuminates the back of the LCD that either allows or doesn't allow light to pass through them. If the lamp is out, you won't see anything on the screen!

ok :) thank you all! I think I'm going to do a complete revision, because between the hard drive, my screen, my graphics card, and the motherboard, I'm going to get lost :)

Your computer is afraid of the storm, try to comfort it :) It will eventually forget and display the screen normally ;)
