Charlotte Bourdin is the name of a scammer offering supposedly free kittens. But beware, it’s a scam. I wanted to adopt one of those cute little furballs shown in the pictures. She replies via email that her kittens, Minou and Minette (original names), need to be delivered by an animal transport service because she works in Belgium... And of course, you have to pay. But in the end, no kitten and money lost. Consider yourselves warned...

I am in contact with a woman who is offering me 2 kittens; she supposedly lives in Paris and is proposing to send them to me in Hérault. I have to give the money to the delivery person once I have the kittens in my possession.........
She gave me her number and even sent me a photo of her identity card in the name of Charlotte Bourdin, born in 1983.....

I just received an email from this person about Sacred Birman kittens, in her email she mentions that she and her husband are in Stockholm!!! And she is pregnant. In short, it's a scam, it's really outrageous.
I just received an email from her regarding a little red kitten, Bourdin Charlotte is supposedly in London and initially offered to send the kitten to Toulouse for €50 and now it's €100
"I just contacted the veterinary transporter and he agreed to come to your area. He will call you and send you an email with your information and delivery times. He is really angry with me because the date for picking up the kittens from him has passed, and the €210 I gave him for boarding and nutrition expenses is gone. He wants me to find an adoptive family as soon as possible; otherwise, he will take them to the animal shelter. I prefer to advance the transport costs to the transporter, which are now €100 due to the distance, and you will reimburse me in installments after receiving the kitten."
Anyway, it sounded like a scam, I refused of course!! Just like with you, madam, she doesn't provide her address, phone number, or that of the transporter.....

The worst part of the story is that the same evening I called the real Charlotte Bourdin to inform her of the identity theft, and she replied that she was aware and that following the theft of her identity card, she had informed the gendarmes, but they couldn't do anything because the culprits are probably abroad. The real Charlotte Bourdin is suffering because of heartless people; may these people rot in hell.
ATTENTION MRS BOURDIN IS NOW PASSING HERSELF OFF AS MRS KATHERINE FOSTER WHO IS LOCATED IN STOCKHOLM;
For your information, I almost got trapped too on the site "annonceschatons.com"; I sent 4 emails for different breeds of kittens and received three responses from
BOURDIN Aurdrey, now in Belgium even though her email address is yahoo.ca so CANADA
BOURDIN Charlotte now in London
WALLIN Yvette now in England in Castletown
For the first two emails, it's copy-paste except for the locations, the amount of air transport, and the names of the kittens, ages 2 months and 1 week (1 - Minou and Minette; 2 - Lily and Ben luckily not Ken and Barbie!)
As for the 3rd: same principle a male cat and a female cat of 3 months (Miki and Winnie)
By the way, if they are pros, they didn't even respect the letter of the year of birth to give the names.
For an ad posted in department 54, they all three moved 15 days ago (while the ads dated from January 18 to 22, 2014), they are pregnant so they can no longer take care of the cats and are very concerned about having the address, landline and mobile phone, and knowing income, living arrangements and work hours in order to be sure that we will take care of the cats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who do they think they are fooling? Moreover, their emails are filled with spelling and grammatical errors!
I replied to Audrey, with copies to the other two to let them know that I wasn't fooled.
So, site and people to avoid like the plague.

You can't blame the crooks for taking advantage of your cruelty; there are thousands of abandoned animals, but it's clear that animals that are no longer young or not purebred aren't enough for these gentlemen and ladies.
For the journalist, it would be good once and for all to learn how to register and identify yourselves as such; this isn't really the ANPE and even less jeuxvideo.com here....

Happy birthday to meeeee....and damn it.

Her responses were not clear at all. If you are in contact with this person, whatever your area of search, my good advice is to run away!!!
I'm leaving...
