Hello everyone. I currently have an Asus x75v PC with an Intel Core i3.
A Nvidia GeForce 610m 1GB and another graphics card I think, it’s an Intel HD Graphics 3000. There you go, I would like to change the graphics card for something more powerful.
My first question is: is it possible to change the graphics card on a laptop (especially how to know if it’s a soldered chip or with an MXM slot)
And 2nd question: which graphics card to play Skyrim, FPS, etc.
Thank you.

Hello,
Even when we say that a PC has a graphics card and not an integrated graphics chip, in general it is integrated into the motherboard.
The only difference is the memory: in one case the memory is dedicated, in the other it uses part of the RAM.
Modern laptops are very light and powerful, unlike older generations; weight is gained as well by not multiplying the number of cards.
So it’s at the moment of choosing the PC that you need to pick the right product, afterward it’s too late. Furthermore, if the card is removable, the computer was designed for that card; another card might generate more heat, and that particular laptop is not designed to dissipate more heat. -

That's exactly it!
And like a PC with a big graphics card, a powerful processor, etc... the budget should be relatively high if we don't want to be stuck in just 1 year.
