Hello,

When I turn on my computer, I receive an error message.

" No bootable device detected. The system will now access the BIOS. "

My computer does not start, and I find myself in the BIOS, but I don't know anything about it... I bought this computer from a store 3 months ago. I hope you can help me. I can't even find safe mode... Thank you.

Hello,

Just to report, I received an Asus M52AD-XTREME two weeks ago, no boot device detected. Returned it for warranty, waited 15 days and then received a new PC. Same problem.
I'm fed up, took apart the PC (bye warranty), and found that the hard drive power cable wasn't plugged in. Just like several sites had pointed out.

Conclusion: either the Asus assembly team are the worst screw-ups I know, or they avoid plugging in the cables on the gaming ranges, suspecting that we will open it to fix such a simple problem and save themselves some warranty returns...

Heads up to DIY enthusiasts.
