Hello, I just set up an MSI Z77MA-G43 motherboard, but I’m not getting the first beep on startup and all the connections are plugged in. Do you have any ideas?

Thank you

    Hello,
Why do you want the beep on startup?
Does the PC start up or does it freeze?

I don't have the beep, but that’s intentional; I haven't connected the speaker to the motherboard.

No, he's fine, I've been hearing that beep for 25 years and I just changed the motherboard and there's no more startup beep!

this beep is a system beep related to the bios.
and you should be happy not to have this annoying sound anymore :)

It just needs to be disabled in the BIOS after if you've connected it properly, you should hear your lovely soft beep again ;)

Oh la la, all motherboards have a speaker for the system beep!!
To enter the BIOS, you need to press either Esc, F2, or Delete at startup, the option is somewhere in there
