Open multiple browser tabs on tablet

I completely understand the question... and I've been wondering the same since I've had my Tab3 for a year... as soon as I open another web page, the one that was open "stops." As soon as I leave an application (like a Scrabble game) to go on the internet, the app goes to sleep.

I would like to know if it's due to Samsung? to Android? Is there a tablet available where I could work on multiple fronts without what is in the background freezing?

Thank you in advance if you have the answer (even if it means switching to an Apple or Windows 10 because this is really annoying).

I will try to answer your questions.

1/ Yes, a tablet is like a PC but with slightly more limited capabilities, although depending on the price, they can do a lot of things.
However, the process is sometimes different and you will go through a getting used to period where you will find many similarities.

2/ At first, depending on the brand I think, there are browsers installed by default. But you can always change them.

3/ Yes, you can open several tabs at the same time. Even several apps, split your screen in two.

4/ The battery will last you all day or more depending on your usage.

Before your purchase, make yourself a list of everything you want it to be able to do, the budget, compare the operating systems.
And then arm yourself with patience, take it step by step.

Personally, I think that applications are less risky to install than software and a lot of + + +.

I just got back to the site today and saw your message.

As for suggesting one, that's more complicated. In addition to your usage criteria, you need to add the OS and your budget.
For my part, since I'm on Windows, I chose Android, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8".
I find that the 8" screen, while very easy to hold, is too small.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10" would suit you better; however, for a clip-on model, you should look towards Acer or Asus, I believe.
For your information, I don't know how good they are, but I saw some small keyboards at FNAC (like for a clip-on model) that connect to your tablet via Bluetooth (regardless of the brand). I don't need one, but if I did, it seems very good to me.
