Hello,
how can I record mp3 sequences or mp3 songs from the PC onto classic audio cassettes? What equipment is needed? To perform this transfer in a way that maintains audio quality, thank you for your help. See you soon.
Configuration: Windows XP titanium version, Pentium 4, Internet Explorer 6.0.

Hi there!!

If you have a classic hi-fi system, there should normally be 2 tape players and some ports (a sound output and a microphone input). You need to know your system's manual, to find out where the microphone input is to record on a tape to start with.

On your computer, there is a sound output at the back (your speakers are usually on top).

As for the equipment, you need 1 double male jack cable, which looks like this >> http://www.atritek92.com/imgart/7_108510.gif .

You make the following connection:
*cable from "computer sound output" to "hi-fi microphone input"

Then, adjust the sound on your computer so it’s not too loud. And sync your actions to record and launch a song on your computer.

Finally, I find it's a waste of time; you might as well buy an MP3 player, because you will waste a huge amount of time.

Thank you for your help. Indeed, I will try to buy the cord you mentioned. In response to your suggestion about having an MP3 player, you are right; I do own one, but I want to record music pieces, etc., on cassette to listen to them in my car since I have a cassette player (not currently an MP3 player connected in the car). That's why. Otherwise, just one question: tell me, with your method, can I get a decent sound quality or not? If not, I need to find a temporary solution. I'm waiting for your response and suggestions. See you soon and thank you.

The quality won't be bad, but converting digital sound to analog greatly alters the quality of the song. However, if you properly adjust the sound on your computer and your tape isn't too damaged, then the sound will be acceptable. You'll get the same result as if you were recording from the radio onto a tape.
a+++
