No, just open multiple PDFs in a single Acrobat window and find them in the "Window" menu. This avoids having too many windows in the taskbar.

Hello,

In Acrobat Reader:
go to Edit -> Preferences
in Categories -> General, uncheck "Show documents in the taskbar"

And the issue will be resolved...

Hello, I switched from Acrobat 8 to Acrobat 9 and I have the same window issue. Has anyone found a solution to use Acrobat in a single window on the Windows taskbar?

This Acrobat 9 is terrible for losing such an essential function.
Really awful this newbie trend of multiplying elements in the taskbar, I hate it, it's the kind of thing that makes me want to delete this version and download an earlier one!

Hello,

I ran into the same problem and there was no solution with Adobe Reader.

But I have a solution with Photoshop.

Open the PDFs to view and then click on:

- Window

- Arrange

- Choose your display: number of thumbnails, horizontal/vertical.
