Hello,

surprised by the incredibly clear, streamlined, and straightforward interface of the Fnac.com site, I'm looking for how to 'properly' log out of the site. Where is the button?

Thank you

Hello,

you need to go to your account, and in the left column, you have the option to log out.

See you!

However, I did just take the test, and it's true that we always think we're connected because your name stays displayed.
But when you click on your name, it does ask for your email address and password.

What you're explaining is the disconnection from the account for order tracking and other modifications... but not the disconnection from the site itself.

It's not "you think you're still logged in," but you ARE still logged in.

And me, after several decades of using my PC, today, 12/21/2024, on Fnac+ Members, I can't find any "logout" tab: neither on the left, nor on the right, nor at the top, nor at the bottom.

Could it be a lack of kindness from the AI? Ha ha!

You need to go to the Dashboard and then to the main page, scroll down to the bottom where you will see a tiny "Log out."

Found: to disconnect, you need to click on 'change user' (?!) in the box on the right, under 3 ad boxes, the box titled 'your FNAC.com account'.

Logging in (and out) of the account (for order tracking, for example) is independent. (simplicity according to FNAC.com)

Thank you for the info; it's true that in this case, Fnac really went all out.

Why make it so complicated?

See you later!

"Why make it so complicated?"

I suppose for this -double- reason:
- to facilitate login to the site while keeping (with a 'cookie') the 'client' connection
ALL THE WHILE
- ensuring account security by asking for the password once again for logging into the 'account' for order tracking and account management.

No, I was talking about disconnecting, which isn't easy to see where to go.
