How to format my iPod shuffle?

Hello, I recently bought a second-hand iPod Shuffle. So far, no problems, but when I try to install my music on it, it only allows me to put 53 songs even though it has 1GB of memory O_o. So I went to see what was wrong in the settings and I see in "capacity" that the largest occupation is from "other files."

My question is therefore the following: how can I format my iPod to get rid of these other files?

Thank you for your help ;)

I found it!!! :D The trick is to right-click on the Ipod as a device in the computer window and then just select format :)

However, thanks again Laurline for your suggestion ;)

It seems to me that on iTunes, if you right-click on the name of your iPod, it offers you that option, or I managed to do it by holding down the play button for more than 10 seconds... maybe that's not it after all.

Unfortunately, the right-click only allows me to synchronize my iPod or export files (and other options without the desired effect :/), and holding down the button doesn't change anything :/

      Thanks anyway ;)
