Reverse bug in Euro Truck Simulator 2

Hello, when I drive a truck and I want to maneuver
to park my trailer in reverse, the reverse gear gets stuck and I have to lean against something for the forward gear to engage! Any idea what the problem is? Thanks for responding! :)

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 26.0.1410.64

    To switch from forward to reverse, you need to release the button you're pressing. I know I often have this problem too. If you press both, it won't work.

    For now, I have no idea. I have Euro Truck Simulator 2 (the new one) and there are still likely some bugs. If you downloaded it from a community (I'm thinking specifically of Steam), wait for an update.

    I will look into your problem and let you know if I find a solution.

    I don't know if you've already done this, but check out videos on sites like YouTube or Dailymotion.

    Alright, thanks anyway! I bought the game at Micromania! Maybe it also comes from a mod that I downloaded, I don't know! I will wait for an update! Safe travels! ^^

    Hello,
    So I'm letting you know that I have the same issue as you. After several searches, I learned that it was due to a bug in patch 1.3.1. Even creating a new game won't fix the problem, you just have to wait for the next update to finally get normal reverse driving back.

    A little advice, when you need to reverse, press very lightly on your reverse key. Try to maintain a speed of 3/4 km/h, and if you want to stop, don't press either the brake or the accelerator. Wait for it to stop by itself.

    Alright, thanks! ^^ For the advice, I was already doing it and to stop, I lean against something and the truck stops and I can take off like that: no choice! ;) Thanks for looking! ^^
