Disk error on mp4

Hello; I bought an MP4 for my daughter, it has no brand; but since she received it, she hasn't had any problems; I was able to transfer clips of songs without any issues.... but since this morning her player displays "disk error" every time she wants to listen to a piece or watch a video!!! Can someone help me please: thank you for your attention
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.2

    Try to reformat it with this utility and keep me posted:

      Hello, I have exactly the same problem: I can only listen to the radio on my MP4 player ordered from eBay in China. When I try to listen to music or anything else, the player shows: disk error, so I'm not sure what to do. When I connect it to my PC, it tells me that the disk is not formatted and offers to format it. However, the CD provided with the player is blank, so I don't know where to find different drivers and firmware. What should I do then? Can someone help me? :s

      Thank you for me, I succeeded but it wasn't easy. I formatted with what you said and then there is a file on the desktop named after the volume label or serial. I don’t know exactly, I put music in there and now they are on my MP.

    Thank you very much! I had this problem too; I bought an MP4 in Tenerife and had the same issue. By reformatting, I managed to put music back on it. Thanks a lot!

    Hello,

    Before, my storex gv40 mp3 worked very well, I could change songs as many times as I wanted....

    Now, when I go into the file to change my music, it's empty! There's nothing left!
    Even though my mp3 is full! So I can no longer change my music!!!

    However, the CD is well installed! I have installed and uninstalled several times but nothing works!

    And this is happening on both of my different computers!!!
    (the problem is always the same on both computers at home!)

    Please give me some advice!
