Self-opening right mouse click

I have an Asus laptop, not old since I've only had it since January. It hasn't suffered any damage, hasn't fallen or anything. Yet, for a few days now, I've had an issue with my mouse.
The right-click triggers by itself, without me pressing it. It works fine for a while when the computer has just been turned on,
and then gradually I can hardly do anything. At first, it was just at the end of the day when the computer had warmed up, but now it starts after barely 15 minutes of startup. It's particularly annoying when I try to type something, as I'm constantly interrupted by the right-click menu that pops up by itself every 3 letters. But this happens even when I'm not typing, whether on my desktop, in my documents, or on the internet. I've tried looking in my mouse settings to see if I could do something, but I didn't see anything that could help me. And I couldn't find much help online either.
Could this be due to the computer overheating? It doesn't seem to heat up that much, it doesn't make any noise, and everything else works properly. But I've read online that it sometimes comes from there.
Does anyone know where the problem might be, and how can I fix it?

Thank you very much in advance.

Aside from deactivating the laptop's touchpad and connecting a regular USB mouse...
Or the customer service, it should still be under warranty...

I FINALLY SUCCEEDED !!! In the same menu as you, I had to select the pad and completely disable the click pad and reserve it for the keys; even at max sensitivity it kept clicking by itself, but thanks to you I am saved! Thank you very much!

I had the same problem with an Asus laptop (right click happening on its own) and I found the solution! It came from the "palm detection" setting of the touchpad:

control panel -> mouse
on the right side of the "hardware" tab there is a tab for the touch pad (ELAN in my case)
in this tab click on options. A new box opens,
select "palm measurement" and set the slider to maximum
and there you go!

I almost forgot, this needs to be done on all user accounts, as the ELAN driver settings are specific to each user...

Actually, it only worked for a few hours... The problem has come back! Weird... This is going to drive me crazy, this thing!

Here it is! I found it! It was the wireless KEYBOARD that, strangely, was making the mouse click by itself. I removed the USB dongle from this keyboard... and no more problems for 3 weeks! PHEW!

Thank you for your responses! :)

Unfortunately I don't have wireless, so I still don't know what it's due to...
It's not 24/7, only occasionally during the day for half an hour, and then it goes back to normal. But it's still annoying.
