Hello,
I had to completely reconfigure my laptop. After restarting, it has become impossible for me to get the @ symbol using its normal key. Several other keys are also inverted.
My laptop is an "emachines G640G".
I've tried various key combinations, but nothing works. The keyboard is properly configured for the correct language.
Can someone let me know the steps to restore correct functionality? Thank you in advance.

AZ: there's no problem on that side. When I press the key to get the at symbol: it's the one for uppercase "O" and lowercase "à". This same key pressed with the Alt Gr key should give me the at symbol. I get the latter with the Alt Gr key and the uppercase "2" and "é". But that's not the only case. The exclamation point key to the right of the ":" gives me the "=" sign. It's a mess...
You need to change the 'language' of the keyboard in the Windows settings.
