Hello,
For an event I was asked to create a giant mural (15m x 3m) which will be painted by the guests. The guests will have to do color-by-numbers painting.
From a photo I would like to apply a filter in Photoshop so that the photo is easy to paint. During the event there will be a white canvas with just outlines in which numbers will be written. Each number corresponds to a color. The image needs to be made of several color flat areas (aplats) and the final result should still look rather realistic.
Could you therefore share some ideas for how to carry out this work?
Thanks in advance.

Hello
For the photo in Photoshop, could you ,perhaps, try the Contour filter

It shouldn't be that easy, especially if the original photo has a lot of colors, to place the numbers
