Photo montage for a painting simulation

Hello,

I am about to repaint my dining room, and I would like to take a photo of it. I want to create a sort of photo montage showing the empty room (as I will change my furniture later) and be able to simulate color combinations. Is it possible to do that already? I would like to use two tones in this room.
I have been on various websites that have simulators (like Kazadécor for example) but I don't understand anything.
Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

it's possible with a bitmap drawing software. You just need to select the area in question (the walls) and apply the desired hue.

Hello, thank you for your response
Should I choose Photoshop bitmap or image? Is it free?
      Thank you.

You can use Gimp or Paint which are free. Photoshop is paid.
