My daughter drew on the LCD screen with a green gel pen.

How can I erase it?

    I don't see how you could remove those stains other than by cleaning your screen normally by moistening a lint-free cloth with cold water. You can also search online for products to clean LCDs. Hope this helps you! :)

    Hello!

    Normally, when it doesn't come off easily with a damp cloth, a NON-ACETONE solvent is effective for ink stains on screens: avoid pressing too hard. As for the green gel pen specifically, it's hard to say without knowing more about it.

      if the alcohol is not enough, you can try to heat gently and not too specifically with a hairdryer to loosen the softened wax
      For cloth, I recommend makeup removal pads ................

      Otherwise, as Claude used to say, acetone-free solvents (otherwise the screen will dissolve and become blurry in that area)

      Hello Hamburgers! Instead of drying by heating, I suggest the opposite below to prevent the wax from penetrating deeper into the grooves of the screen! Makeup remover cotton pads work very well, indeed.

      What grooves?? the surface of the LCD screen is completely smooth...........
      I used the "hot" method for everything else by heating the cotton pads and the screen (not too much of course) and it worked.

      No! I’m talking about scratches that could have been made by nails or other childish interventions. But I’ve never tried with wax: I’ve just tried to imagine an adequate solution. If you have experience and the result is good, it’s better to follow your advice.

    Oh! It's already a bit more complicated with the wax! I suggest cooling the surface with an ice cube placed in a bag (to harden the wax a bit) and then very gently scrape (to "lift" the wax) with a nail. Repeat a few times if necessary. Then, try a dedicated cleaning product or an acetone-free remover to get rid of the remaining color. Absolutely avoid products that could damage your screen, like window cleaner.

      Have you tried cooling it down as explained above?

      If that doesn't work, do the opposite, but start with cooling; it's less risky!

      It's with non-acetone nail polish remover, but I cooled down the screen first with a cold cloth.
